What to expect when transitioning to a solid shampoo
Natural solid shampoos are formulated without sulfates, silicones, synthetic lathering agents or softeners. They work in sync with the scalp's natural processes rather than "masking" them.
During the first few washes it is completely normal to experience:
- ✓A different feel to the hair
- ✓Less lather, and softer lather
- ✓Less "smoothed" lengths compared to conventional shampoos
This is an adaptation period during which:
- ✓Accumulated silicones, styling products and residue from previous products are washed away
- ✓The scalp gradually restores its own balance — without aggressive stripping or "sealing" with silicones
After this adaptation period, hair typically:
- ✓Becomes more elastic and vital
- ✓Looks denser and healthier
- ✓Regains its natural shine and softness
For longer or drier hair, it can be combined with a suitable conditioner or mask applied mainly to the lengths and ends.
Contains: coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, shea butter, sodium hydroxide (saponifying agent — not present in the final product), almond oil, peppermint and rosemary essential oils, nettle.
HOW TO USE
- Thoroughly wet the hair and scalp.
- Wet the shampoo bar and rub it directly onto the scalp until a lather forms.
- Gently massage the scalp for 1–2 minutes to support microcirculation.
- Distribute the lather through the lengths and rinse thoroughly.
- Repeat if needed.
- If the lengths are dry, a conditioner or nourishing oil can be applied to the ends only.
